We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your files and documents are processed securely and are automatically deleted after conversion is complete, unless you have explicitly opted to save them in your account.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Smart PDF Converter and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to your content. By uploading content to our Service, you grant us a limited license to use, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all fees in accordance with the billing terms in effect at the time of your subscription.

All subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

We reserve the right to change our subscription fees at any time, but we will provide notice of any changes before they take effect.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart PDF Converter and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
• Any content obtained from the Service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Smart PDF Converter and its licensors, service providers, employees, agents, officers, and directors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within San Francisco County, California.
